Tickets have
been purchased with United and Ethiopian airlines and housing has been secured
for August 13-28! The mission team of six persons – Carol Falke, Lee
Ellenberger, David Howell, Kira Hydock, Kevin Lloyd, Dan Petrick, Greg Petrick,
and Robin Shafer - will be staying at the Urukundo Home in Rwanda. And when the
team returns home on August 23, I will continue on to Zimbabwe for three days,
staying at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church parsonage with their pastor,
the Rev. Joseph Chimberengwa. St. Andrews is a sister-congregation to the church I serve, Park Forest Village United Methodist Church, State College, PA.
